Meet the Founder
Latisha Deal is a wife, mother, author, postpartum doula, and women’s health advocate dedicated to supporting Black and Brown women through informed and empowered healthcare experiences.
She holds a Master of Science in Health Education and Promotion from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Florida. Latisha is also a Certified Health Education Specialist and Certified Health Coach.
Through her work, Latisha observed that many women left medical appointments feeling confused, dismissed, or uncertain about their care. This realization led her to shift from traditional health coaching to a health-advocacy-centered practice focused on helping women navigate the healthcare system with confidence and clarity.
Her personal postpartum journey further strengthened her commitment to serving women of color. After recognizing critical gaps in postpartum support and care, Latisha became a postpartum doula to provide culturally responsive, compassionate guidance during this transformative stage of life.
At the Latisha Deal Health Advocacy Firm, our mission is to serve as your healthcare wing-woman by offering education, advocacy, and personalized resources that empower you to take charge of your health. With over a decade of experience, Latisha is committed to creating a more supportive, equitable, and affirming healthcare experience so every woman feels seen, supported, and empowered.
“Communities and countries and ultimately the world are only as strong as the health of their women.” — Michelle Obama
